Start from the Login page

After installing and opening SafoChat, the app opens on the Login page.

If you are a new user, look for the message explaining that you should create an account first.

Tap Create Account to begin registration.

Enter your account details

Fill in the registration form with your information.

• Full Name: enter your complete name, not only your first name.
• Phone Number: enter a valid phone number with at least 10 digits.
• Email: enter a valid email address.
• Password: create a password with at least 6 characters/digits.
• Confirm Password: enter the same password again.

Use a referral code if you were invited

The referral code is optional. If another person invited you to SafoChat, you can enter their referral code.

• You can leave the referral field blank.
• Registration can still succeed without a referral code.
• If you enter a referral code, make sure it is valid.
• An invalid referral code will cause registration to fail.

Tap Register

Once you have entered all the required information, check that everything is correct.

Then tap the green REGISTER button.

SafoChat will check your information and create your account when the registration details are valid.

Your account has been created

If registration is successful, SafoChat displays a confirmation dialog letting you know that your account has been created.

Tap OK and continue to the Login page.

Return to SafoChat and login

After registering, you still need to login to your newly created account.

You can login using either your email address or your phone number.

Use the password you created during registration.

Open your Profile

From the SafoChat home page, tap your profile picture at the top right.

This opens your Profile activity, where you can view your account information.

Change your profile picture

Your profile picture is displayed at the top of your Profile activity.

Tap the profile picture or the camera icon in the bottom-right corner of the picture.

Select a photo from your device and upload it as your new profile picture.

Check your account information

The Account Statistics section shows important information about your SafoChat account.

• Your current KSh balance.
• Your account status.
• A button to access Make Money Online.

The account status may show whether your account is active, blocked or restricted.

View contact and referral information

The Profile activity also displays the email address and phone number associated with your account.

You can also find your personal referral code and the number of people you have referred to SafoChat.
